Such a cozy, lovely place! 5*

The calm atmosphere, birdsong, and meeting Lilo and Joy, their two adorable dogs, made our night here memorable. We’d come off a long trip from Barcelona, but arriving was easy even though we were tired. Maria and Guido welcomed us warmly with a drink, and later offered herbal tea before bed. They also recommended and booked a delicious restaurant serving traditional food. The room and bathroom were very comfortable and spotlessly clean, and breakfast had everything we needed to start the day smiling. We also had a really interesting chat with Guido. It was only one night, but this is the kind of place that stays with you. We’d love to return and stay longer.

We loved the quiet, green hills around here, which felt as lovely as the Langhe without the same price tag. Le Praie church is nearby, and Trattoria Tripoli is an easy walk away for its first courses and desserts. There’s also O'Connell Street, an Irish pub that was a surprising find in the Ligurian hinterland. Maria and Guido were warm, courteous and attentive without ever getting in the way. My partner and I spent three nights here and had a great stay. A lovely choice for a romantic weekend or just some quiet away from the city.

The garden is worth the trip on its own, so peaceful and serene. Inside, the old farmhouse has a special charm from its careful renovation. Our room was roomy and comfortable, with dimmable lights, and the bed was incredibly comfortable too. The bathroom had a great big walk-in shower, and everything was spotless. Breakfast was excellent, with Maria's fresh cakes and the focaccia genovese you shouldn't miss. The owners are wonderful people, the sort you’re really glad to have met. Top in every way!!!
