What we ate tasted good, but €150 for four adults and three children felt wildly overpriced, especially since one of the kids barely ate. That covered four small beers, small bowls of pasta, a pork steak and a tray of chips. Ask about prices clearly before ordering. There was no printed menu. Compared with an amazing meal in nearby Casciana, this place felt like a complete rip off. Avoid. Piazza del Sirchio doesn’t have much going for it when it comes to places to eat.

The staff were really kind and helpful with customers who don’t speak Italian. They even had a menu in English. We had a lovely lunch today, the food was excellent, and I’d really recommend it.

The atmosphere is great, the staff are friendly, and the food is good, with lots of local and homegrown ingredients. Prices are very reasonable too.
