We slept well, and the hosts were attentive and friendly. The bathrooms are functional, if not very spacious, which helps preserve the atmosphere. The rooms themselves are large, with period furnishings, a TV, and split system. This is a noble palace right in the city center, thoughtfully restored by the current owners while keeping its original features. The large vaulted hall with frescoes is enchanting and would be worth the price of admission on its own. Small refrigerators in the rooms might be a minor improvement, but that's a small detail. B&B Antico Palazzo is absolutely worth the price and a must-see for anyone wanting to immerse themselves in late 19th-century Sicily.
