The hosts are around and make you feel like a guest in their home, unlike B&Bs where the owner vanishes once you've paid and collected the key. You still have your privacy. The B&B is in a period building in the heart of Piazza Armerina, and I'd recommend it if you want a few days in a typical Sicilian home in the historic center.
