Piazzatorre is a small mountain village set in beautiful scenery, close to a few ski resorts and San Pellegrino Terme (SPA). The family-run hotel has a warm feel, kind service, and good homemade food.

The view from the window is amazing. The hotel is a little rustic, but the staff were very friendly, helpful, and ready to assist :)

The food is good, the place is quiet, and the young owners are kind. Andrea, who is a friendly foreigner, runs the hotel with her husband. The rooms are basic and small but clean, and the hotel is nice and comfortable. There's no air conditioning, unfortunately, though we managed to sleep with the window open at night. The town itself isn't much, but it's fine if you just want to walk the trails and relax at a bar or pizzeria. The mayor is friendly, too! Worth visiting at least once.
