We spent most of our time in Linguaglossa, where we found some really good restaurants, though it was also lovely to bring local produce back and eat it in the garden. There’s a winery nearby, and Piedimonte is close too. Giovanna was always ready with useful tips about places to eat and visit. We stayed in one of the two little cabins. They don’t have kitchens, but that wasn’t an issue at all: Giovanna brings a lovely breakfast to your porch each morning. The cabins sit in a beautiful garden full of olive trees, wildflowers, butterflies and birds. If you’re lucky, Jin or Yang, the black-and-white cats we named ourselves, might turn up looking for cuddles. Giovanna and her partner Francesco run this special little B&B near quiet Linguaglossa. There’s also a larger apartment available to rent. The garden has such a peaceful, almost magical feel that you could get religious spending too long there. We’ll be back, and next time we want to stay longer.

The apartments are spotless, with all the things you’d need to cook for a family. The garden is just as lovely, with olive and lemon trees and plenty of beauty around you. Our hostess was so sweet and made sure we were well looked after. She brought us an authentic local breakfast, and later asked what we preferred. It’s hard to put into words how beautiful a stay this was.

The hostess was so thoughtful and enthusiastic. We spent ten days here with family and friends, surrounded by nature, breathing fresh, quiet air and feeling peaceful and relaxed. I’m so glad we got to experience this wonderful place. Thanks so much, we’ll be back soon!

Breakfast arrived fresh that morning, homemade and delicious. The hosts were attentive and welcoming, the decor was tasteful, and the bedding was high quality. We also loved the beautiful indoor pool and gardens. The view of Mount Etna was breathtaking, along with its predicted eruption in June 2025. A real haven for feeling good.
