The evening views from this charming property are mesmerizing, and Manuela and Andrea make sure guests have an unforgettable stay. It’s a quintessential Tuscan experience in one of the region’s most beautiful areas, one I’ll remember for a long time.

The patio by the pool was a favorite spot for watching the sunset over the rolling Tuscan hills with Brunello and super Tuscan wines we’d bought during our daily outings. Our cozy, comfortable apartment was decorated so thoughtfully and beautifully that it felt like home. The whole property is gorgeous and perfectly placed in the heart of Tuscany. Staying several days with Manuela and Andrea at Fonte Bertusi was the highlight of our Italy trip, and we wish there were more than five stars. Manuela and Andrea were warm, friendly hosts who really cared that everyone enjoyed their stay. Manuela’s breakfasts were a wonderful start to each day, and she kindly helped us with reservations. We had a fantastic wine tasting day around Montalcino. Don’t miss the family-owned Santa Giulia winery in Montalcino. The family and staff are lovely, and the wine is fantastic, one of our favorite Tuscan experiences. We can’t wait to return to idyllic Fonte Bertusi, where we felt welcomed like family.

The hosts, Manuela and Edoardo, were so friendly and helpful. It’s impressive that the two of them manage the whole agriturismo, with maybe a little help from the cats. Breakfast was varied and delicious, and Eduardo made the coffee by hand. We stayed in “La Mansarda,” a cute maisonette with everything we needed. It was very clean, and the heating kept us warm and comfortable. The Tuscan hills already make for a stunning view, but the cozy, thoughtful decor is what made us feel at home. Trees and plants offered plenty of shade when it got hot, and there were lots of spots around the estate to sit and relax. We never felt we had to compete for a seat, and our apartment had its own terrace and seating, too. Our time at Fonte Bertusi was our favorite part of Tuscany. We loved it and would be glad to return. It was much too short. Grazie!!! ❤️

We stayed for a week and loved every minute. Manuela and Andrea were responsive and thoughtful hosts, always ready with suggestions for places to visit and happy to make reservations for us. It’s a lovely family-run business shaped by art-loving people, and there’s something new to discover wherever you look.
