We spent five nights here and loved it. Our very active toddler had a ball watching the ducks and dogs while we wandered around with a beer in hand. The grounds are beautiful, the apartment is spacious and modern, and the food and service are fantastic. It’s also a superb spot for exploring nearby towns. Highly recommend!

The room guide has more than 80 pages of information about local wineries and things to do. Staff are also quick and helpful on WhatsApp. Service and rooms were great, and we had a wonderful time. Dinner and breakfast were always excellent, and they make you feel welcome and looked after. At dinner, there’s no need to worry about the bill; they know you and which room to charge, without asking questions.

We spent a week here and it was just perfect. The views across val d’orcia are gorgeous, and beautiful Pienza is so close, making this an ideal base for seeing the region’s towns and sights. The accommodation is fantastic, with great breakfasts, delicious restaurant food, a magnificent pool area, and fantastic beer from the brewery on site. The owners are lovely, kind, friendly, and always up for a chat. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Tuscany.

We came to La Fonte for dinner hoping to find a proper Fiorentina steak, and it was probably one of the best we’ve ever had. Great sides too, especially the carciofi ripieni, and the desserts were tasty. The location was superb, and the staff were welcoming, attentive, and quick with the orders. We’ll definitely be back.
