La Corte Antica

Mrs. Alice made us feel very welcome, and the house was lovely, with every detail taken care of. It’s just a short walk from the center. We loved the stairs, though they’re quite steep, and the rooms are on the second and third floors. For families with children, keep in mind the room is on the second floor while the bathrooms are on the ground and third floors, so safety needs to be considered.

The little courtyard is a lovely place to eat outside, surrounded by sunlight and well-kept flowers. Inside, the apartment is on three levels: kitchen, living room and bathroom on the ground floor, a bedroom on the first, then the main bedroom and its bathroom on the second. It’s beautifully furnished, carefully designed and has every comfort. You can choose soft lighting from the lovely lamps or brighter light from the wall fixtures around the apartment. Alice welcomed us with warmth and real attention, and she and Simone were kind and thoughtful throughout. We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is right in the center, so it was a pleasure to walk just 10 steps in the morning for fresh croissants from the café down the street. Thank you, and see you soon. Ema, Vale, Anna!

It’s a handy base for exploring the Val d'Orcia, including by e-bike, with a rental shop right outside the apartment. The apartment itself is clean, attractive, well looked after, and has everything we needed. The owner was friendly and very helpful, and gave us lots of tips about local restaurants. Highly recommended!

The apartment was spotless and had all the comforts, and we were welcomed so warmly. There’s no Wi-Fi, but we took the chance to switch off for a few days. We already miss this beautiful place. See you soon! Roberto and Raffaella
