Hotel Corallo

Just okay overall, though the room was nice, the bathroom was spacious, and the beach was close by.

I slept well, and the clean sheets were comfortable. There were extra pillows in the closet, which I appreciated since the ones provided felt too low. I wasn't keen on the bedspreads, though; they had a dusty, unhygienic feel. Breakfast had both sweet and savory options, but not much variety, and the building's decor feels stuck in the 1980s. Maybe that vintage look is intentional, given the elderly owners, but some updates would help, especially to the air conditioning in the rooms. The practical side worked well. Restaurants and bars are plentiful nearby, the beach and its facilities are right across the street, and you can get around on foot. Reception is staffed even late at night, which was handy when returning late. There's a small gated private lot, but cars are parked in double rows, so you have to leave your keys in case yours needs moving. For a few no-frills nights, it was fine. I found it peaceful and family-run, and it suits someone who values convenience and quiet more than looks.

The hotel faces the sea, and breakfast was a generous buffet with sweet and savory food. The owner was very friendly. My room was clean and had air conditioning, a mini-fridge, TV, and Wi-Fi. There's also an elevator and a hairdryer. Recommended!

The location was a real plus, right by the beach, with the old town and promenade just a few steps away. My girlfriend and I spent four days here and had a great time. It's a simple, comfortable hotel with everything you need, plus a bar on site if you fancy a drink. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was excellent. I just wish they offered half-board or full-board. Since there's a dining room, that would be really convenient.
