Orangerie Pietrasanta

We spent three weeks at L’Orangerie, and discovering it was one of the highlights of our recent travels. Giulia and Ilaria, the sisters who own and run it, are at the heart of this little paradise. They look after guests and their pets with real care, make wonderful breakfasts and brunches, and go out of their way to make each stay memorable. We met many happy returning guests who shared tips and ideas for exploring Versilia. The homemade pastries from the kitchen are the best in town, so be ready to indulge. The orange grove garden, historic building and well-appointed rooms all add to the experience. L’Orangerie sits in the heart of Pietrasanta’s beautiful old town, where you can hear opera in the main squares. Pietrasanta is a Tuscan jewel and a fascinating sculpture center, and this place is a lovely introduction to it. A rare, wonderful experience. Don’t miss it.

We had a room with a terrace and its own door for direct access to the center of historic Pietrasanta. There’s plenty of parking on site, and the location couldn’t have been better. Guilia and her sister were lovely hosts. Breakfast was fruit salad packed with their own fresh oranges, along with pastries and cappuccino. Orangerie is next to Paradis, a gorgeous brand-new five-star restaurant and bar. Enjoy the place and all this quaint town has to offer.

Parking is available on site, and there’s a private entrance straight into Pietrasanta right next door. The hosts are wonderful and breakfast is great. Best BnB in town, highly recommended.
