The outdoor setting was gorgeous, and my room had a lovely view across the valley. I was in Pietrelcina for a wedding and felt lucky to have booked this beautiful place early. I don't speak Italian, so communication was a little tricky, but the staff were incredibly patient and kind, and we always managed to work things out 😊 We didn't have a car, and the staff kindly offered to drive us into town or out for lunch. The rooms were really nice, and there was a super friendly orange cat around who liked being petted. The on-site breakfast was the one letdown for me: very basic, with hardly any fruit. One tip for Australians: don't try driving here unless you're experienced with driving in Italy 😂 You can hire a driver, or take a train to Benevento and get a taxi from the station 😊

It's really quiet here, and the owners and locals are friendly. The rooms are nice, and the rolling valley makes a lovely view. At night it's dark enough to see the stars along the horizon. The place is only 1.5 miles from the city center and the house where padre pio was born.

The accommodation is outstanding, and the young owner is wonderfully welcoming and professional. This is my second great stay at Hurz, and I'm sure I'll be back for a third because the location is so beautiful.

What a gem. Francesco is friendly, and the hotel is beautiful with a stunning view. The pool was closed, unfortunately, but we were told in good time and offered a free change to our booking. We decided to stay, and still had a wonderful time.

We've been coming to Hurz as a family for almost ten years, and it's become a place we wouldn't swap for anywhere else. Francesco, Angela, and all the staff are so kind, helpful, and friendly. They make you feel like family. The location is perfect, with Padre Pio's Elm Tree just steps away and the center of Pietrelcina only a few minutes off. It's surrounded by greenery and wonderfully peaceful. At night, the clear starry sky is breathtaking. The rooms are always clean, comfortable, and modern. Breakfast is made with such care, and the warm croissants and lemon cake are unforgettable. For us, Hurz is more than a place to stay. It's a peaceful refuge for the soul, filled with precious memories for our family.
