For anyone hiking Alta Via 4, this is a great choice. The family who run Hotel Giardino made everything easy and were far more helpful than they had to be. A big hotel chain wouldn’t have given me that same warmth and hospitality. Highly recommend.

The owner was very kind, and breakfast was good. The hotel is close to Parco Roccolo viewpoint, with lots of restaurants nearby serving delicious food and good wine. There’s a convenience store near the hotel too. The church is also close, so you can hear its bell every hour.

I booked Hotel Giardino on the same day when I suddenly needed a place, and it turned out well. It has a nice mom-and-pop feel, and the owners treated me kindly as a solo traveler. The area is quiet, with a lovely mountain view, and the town center is close. The building is a bit old, and my room smelled like smoke, but neither seemed worth making a complaint about. Breakfast was quaint.

The reception was warm and helpful, and there’s even a lockable room for bikes. The rooms were excellent, with comfortable beds, and breakfast had so many choices it was almost too much. It’s a fantastic independent hotel with some of the most stunning views I’ve seen. The quaint town center and its amenities are just a short walk away. Awesome place for you and your family!

They made a mess of our booking and charged me twice. The hotel refunded the money, but management was incredibly rude when I complained, telling me to “calm down” as if that would help. Then came some pretty aggressive messages. They were entirely at fault, and still offered NO APOLOGY.
