Hotel Contà

Rooms facing the river are lovely. You can open the windows to hear the running water and catch a breeze. The rooms are spacious and serviced daily, though the decor is dated, as it is in much of regional Italy. The reception and bar staff are friendly, helpful, and efficient. It’s a nice hotel near the Prosecco hills wineries.

The location was a nice surprise, with cafes and restaurants nearby, and breakfast was good. We spent 3 nights here and had a lovely room with a very comfortable bed. The hotel’s design is a little older, but it seems well maintained and, most importantly, was very clean. We’ll certainly recommend it to our friends.

It’s on a quiet street in town and well placed for exploring the local area. We had a comfortable double room overlooking the river, and it was cleaned each day, with towels and other things replaced as needed. Breakfast had a good selection, and service at both reception and breakfast was excellent whenever we needed help.

We’d definitely stay at Hotel Conta again and recommend it. The buffet breakfast was amazing, with fresh pastries, sliced meat and cheese, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, and more. Staff were accommodating, and the room was kept very clean each day. One thing to know: as we understood it, a municipal rule meant the air conditioning couldn’t be turned on until the end of May. Our room was very warm during the last week of May, and sometimes noisy with the window open. That wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but I hope this review encourages the city to change the rule. Hotel Conta is a beautiful boutique hotel in a perfect location.
