We felt completely at home and would gladly return. The hosts live next door and were so friendly and helpful. They welcomed us with bread and a bottle of wine, then treated us to a freshly baked apple pie during the week. The house is peaceful and secluded, and the bumpy road there is worth the trip, though it’s not ideal for a sports car. It works well for families: there’s a private pool and a playground, but the playground is a little worn and the swing set no longer seems very stable. The house has two separate areas, each with a bathroom. Upstairs there’s a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and attic room. The downstairs area has its own entrance, another bedroom and bathroom, plus a small kitchenette with a fridge, cups, plates, sink, table, and sofa. Cooking is only possible upstairs. Towels and bed linen are provided, as are a washing machine and drying rack. Wi-Fi is available, though it can be limited in bad weather or when several devices are online at once.

A big pool, Speedy the house cat, and nothing but nature and quiet. The stylish old house is furnished with lovely Tuscan details, high up on the mountain. Just right for unwinding.

The pool is great, and the farmhouse is a lovely place to relax in peace.
