Maso Moretto

I went in determined to find a reason not to give this place five stars, but Flavia made that pretty hard. Everything was spotless, from the coffee cup to the bathroom, and she was helpful without ever hovering. The cabin has that cozy Seven Dwarfs feel, but it’s practical too: a big living room with an open kitchen, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower comfortable enough for three, with plenty of water and good drainage. There’s a new pellet stove ready to go, and outside you’ve got a wooden table, deck chairs and an umbrella in the private flower garden. The equipment all seemed new and good quality. There’s a huge fridge, induction hob, washer, dishwasher, microwave, Dyson vacuum, plenty of maps and brochures, and everything we needed for cooking, sleeping and the bathroom. Add a comfy sofa, a big TV, Wi-Fi and Netflix, and I’m out of excuses. And the setting? Open the windows to mountains and woods, with complete quiet. I can’t find a flaw there either. Guess it’s five stars this time. Thanks, Flavia, for all the care you put into the place and for your brave life choice. We’ll be back if we’re nearby again. We’ll be back!

The little village is only a few minutes away by car, though we mostly wanted to enjoy the peace and greenery around Maso Moretto. My family and I live in the city, so being somewhere that helped us recharge both physically and mentally was a real treat. The place felt like home, clean and welcoming, with thoughtful little details throughout. Having Mattia and Flavia as owners and neighbors made the stay even warmer. They’re wonderful people. We had a fantastic time and would love to come back.

We came with our two dogs, who could roam in the green, securely fenced garden. Flavia and Mattia were warm, welcoming and always around when needed. The farm itself is lovely and clearly well looked after. It was my first visit to the Tesino area, and I loved it. The mountain views are enchanting, while the location is also handy for the town’s amenities. Highly recommended.

It’s quite secluded, which was just what we were after since we had our dog with us. The owners were very kind and happy to suggest walks or restaurants, and answer any questions. The double bed was cozy and the sofa bed comfortable enough too. There’s a spacious, brand-new bathroom, and the kitchen is just as roomy, with an induction hob and pots and pans in different sizes. We’d definitely recommend it.
