I often come here for lunch or dinner because the food is fresh, delicious, and affordable. The family makes everything on the menu themselves, even the croissants, and it’s the best restaurant in the Pievepelago area. The hotel has been family-run since the early 20th century; the current host is the original owner’s nephew. Everyone in the family is welcoming but discreet and quiet. It’s in Sant' Anna Pelago, a charming small town near Modena, and the rooms all have recently renovated ensuite bathrooms. One of my favorite places. I highly recommend staying a few days or at least having a meal here.

The food is divine, all made in house, and somehow costs about as much as a snack. It’s an old-style hotel with a huge dining room and comfortable rooms.

We were there from August 8 to August 18, and the staff helped organize everything perfectly for me as a disabled guest. The rooms were extremely clean, and we had excellent service, food, and facilities throughout our stay. Many thanks to everyone, from Alvaro Tomei and Ilene Campbell.
