The room was clean, though the bathroom was rather small. Breakfast and dinner were both very good, and the people there were nice and helpful. It’s a nice little albergo with a restaurant.

The owners were really kind, and the location worked well for getting to Fiumalbo. Breakfast was good, though the choices were limited, and the cleanliness was excellent. Our double room was quite small, including the shower, and the water never got beyond lukewarm even after running it. The price felt too high for the property. I might stay here again if I return, but I’d hope for a slightly bigger room.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was generous and good. It’s a clean, well-kept mountain hotel, though a little dated, with everything you need. Handy for skiing at Abetone or Le Polle/Cimone, and for visiting Lago Santo, Giovo, or the nearby village of Fiumalbo.

I was working nearby and chose the fixed-price lunch for €15, including water, wine, and coffee. There were three options each for first courses, second courses, and side dishes. It was a good restaurant and I ate well. I recommend it.

The service was impeccable, and we had a really good dinner with good wine, even though it was house wine. The menu featured fresh, very tasty porcini mushrooms, quality fresh pasta, and excellent meat. Dog friendly.
