On Saturday, December 27, 2026, at 10:15 AM, the entrance gate had a photocell, but there wasn't one at the exit. While I was reversing, the gate suddenly closed and crushed my car. The damage to the car is bad enough, but the situation was extremely dangerous. If a child or another person had been where the car was, the consequences could have been very serious. The owners accepted no responsibility and said everything was “up to code,” despite the obvious risk. I find that attitude unprofessional and careless about guest safety. An automatic gate must be safe. As I understand the law, at least two pairs of photocells are required, one inside and one outside the gate, or, for sliding gates, in their shortest operating range. I advise anyone booking to be extremely cautious, and hope the owners secure the gate as soon as possible. Unfortunately, this was a negative experience.

Ughetto is a wonderful dog!!! Fabio and Eleonora were fantastic, attentive hosts, and we hope to come back soon. My partner and I spent a weekend there a few weeks ago. The apartment was spacious, spotless, fully equipped, and had an incredibly comfortable bed. The whole place is gorgeous, quiet, and very relaxing.

Fabio and his wife, Eleonora, made us feel so welcome. They're wonderful and professional. It's a charming little oasis surrounded by greenery, with a peaceful, harmonious atmosphere. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere quiet to unwind. Highly recommended.

The conifer forest just outside Potenza makes for such a peaceful setting, and the apartment is small but has all the comforts. It's also well placed for hiking trails and nearby sights like the Angel Flight and Moon Bridge.

The atmosphere at Le Conifere feels really homely. This was our second vacation here, and we'll definitely return. Fabio pays close attention to what guests need, and the place is comfortable, very clean, and superbly organized, with all the amenities and parking on site. The town is 10 minutes from Potenza and the main road, which can take you from one end of the region to the other in just a few minutes.
