Pimonte was such a lovely change of pace after the busier places we’d visited. We enjoyed wandering around the village and looking out over the landscape. Casa Bruna sits high in the mountains, with beautiful views of the Sea of Castelle del Mare and Mount Vesuvius. The drive up was a little tricky, though it wasn’t dangerous, and the quiet setting made it worthwhile. Angela made us feel at home from the start. She was warm and helpful, even cooking spaghetti for our son one evening. She shared tomatoes from her garden and helped us order pizza from nearby restaurants too. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back.

We found lovely beaches in Meta, Vico Equence and elsewhere by using Google maps, on day trips that took us toward Sorrento and beyond. We also visited Pompeii and tried the Mount Faito cable car. The drive up that mountain was an adventure in itself. For supplies, there’s an MD supermarket before you head up to Pimonte. Casa Bruno made a great base for seeing the coast, and we had a wonderful time there. The village is quiet and charming after the busier areas, and the mountain views over the sea castelle de mare and Mount Vesuvius are beautiful. The road up is a little tricky, but the peaceful setting is worth it. Angela was so kind and helpful. She made our son homemade spaghetti one night, shared tomatoes from her garden, and helped us order pizza from local restaurants. We felt right at home, and would happily return.

Lovely modern casa, great views in the daytime and at night, and a couple of friendly cats. Angela was wonderful too. Hard to ask for more.

Angela is so kind and friendly, and made us feel right at home. The house is spacious, well looked after, and has all the comforts you need. We could have stayed forever. The garden and pool made it even more relaxing. Thank you, Angela ❤️

We ended up leaving because we couldn’t continue the conversation, and things weren’t getting resolved. Construction right outside meant we couldn’t get to the accommodation by car. When we raised this with the landlady, she shouted at us and got very loud and aggressive. Her young son had to calm her down so things wouldn’t escalate. I strongly advise against booking here with this landlady.
