It’s wonderfully quiet, and the price for what you get is more than fair. The B&B sits in the historic hamlet below Brancaleoni Castle, in a beautifully restored building where the work has been done with real care and skill. Inside there’s a well-equipped kitchen with a fully stocked fridge, a living room with a fireplace, a sauna, a Jacuzzi, two bathrooms, one large bedroom and two more double rooms, as in the attached photos. WiFi is available. Cristiano, the owner, is welcoming and attentive to what guests need. I’d gladly come back to enjoy Piobbico and its cheerful, generous, very hospitable people.

The breakfast was superb, with loads of sweet and savory choices, and our dog was welcomed so warmly and stayed with us. We came here to get away from city stress, and the outdoor hot tub was lovely for unwinding at the end of the day. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, and the house is cared for down to the smallest detail. I travel a lot for work and stay in plenty of properties, so you can really see the attention and love that go into running this place. We also appreciated the welcome aperitif. Ad maiora 🔝

There are excursions nearby for all sorts of visitors, and it works just as well for a family holiday as for a business trip. The rooms are comfortable, breakfast has a wide range of options, and there’s a sauna plus a little cave in the lounge. The place feels more like home than a 4-star hotel room, while still offering comfortable, high-quality accommodation. A little gem in the hinterland, with exquisite service and staff who are exceptionally helpful.

Cristiano is kind and helpful, and he’s decorated the family home with a lot of taste and passion. So many little details surprised us. The house is fantastic, very comfortable, and the stay was definitely top quality.
