Agriturismo Poggio Agli Ulivi

A lovely place to visit.

We had a good stay for our two nights. Ms. Benedetta was kind and helpful, even though we arrived late. The location is excellent for the sea, with Carbonifera, Torremozza, and Cala Violina all just minutes away. It's very quiet among the fields, and there's a large garden. Parking is available onsite, and the price was good. Our room was simple, practical, and pleasant, with a rustic look: coffered ceiling, wooden doors like old stable doors, and large windows. It had a full kitchen with a microwave and dishwasher, a spacious bedroom, and an open entry area with a sofa and TV. A couple of things were missing: there were only tiny samples of shampoo and soap, and no hairdryer. For a seaside home, I'd have liked one, even if it meant doing without the dishwasher. The outdoor space could be improved too. It has a lot of potential, and a swing, a few toys for children, and a gazebo would be enough. There are tables and chairs already, but they're very basic. Still, it's recommended for a couple of relaxing days.

We spent a short break here with a friend and my daughters, and the stay felt rejuvenating. The apartment had everything we needed, without feeling overdone or tacky. The neighbouring park with its olive trees was picture-perfect. Mrs. Benedetta was a lovely host, discreet but always there when needed. We'll be back. Thank you, Daniela, Enrica, Nina & Naty.

We found ants all over the room, including in the bed while we were asleep, and they swarmed the food we had in there too. The kitchen and living room were overrun as well. The owner ignored us and didn't come to deal with them. The rooms were old, the price was high, and traffic from the busy provincial road nearby was very loud in the living room. A really bad experience at this poor-quality agriturismo. Never again, not recommended.
