Agriturismo San Giuseppe

We loved how easy it was to walk to restaurants with plenty of tasty options, and the evening sunsets on the way back were spectacular. From Pendolino, it’s also just a few minutes to a beautiful beach and the entrance to the archaeological park, right in the heart of the Gulf of Baratti despite the countryside setting. We stayed there in July 2024. The apartment was clean, very well kept and equipped, and its thick walls kept it cool in summer. Andrea was kind and helpful. If you like nature, cicadas, and the old-fashioned pleasure of people meeting outside to chat, this is an ideal spot.

The veranda gives you a view like the one in the photo, with nature all around and the sea only a few minutes away on foot. The manager was attentive, kind, discreet, and always available if we had questions. We stayed this season in the fully independent Casina Maurino with our dog, who loved it. The property is modern and has every comfort. If insects and other little creatures worry you, the city might suit you better.

Even with chilly evenings in March 2025, the accommodation stayed warm and comfortable. We had a great time by the sea and surrounded by nature. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

The sea is an easy walk away, and the front outdoor area is airy and pleasant for chatting with the owners and other guests. Andrea is attentive and very honest, and his way of welcoming people makes you feel at home. The house is very clean and well maintained, with plenty of amenities and a nicely furnished interior. A great choice for a few quiet days in the countryside around Baratti.
