The lift gave us trouble. Our second room had only been set up for one person, with just one towel, and the first room smelled of cigarette smoke.

Right in the centre of Piombino, this is a lovely hotel a minute from the seaside promenade and the fortress. There are very few parking spaces around the hotel, and they're narrow. There are plenty of bigger car parks in central Piombino, though, about a 5-10 minute walk away.

The garage was convenient and essential for us in Piombino, and the price was very good for what we got. Restaurants, the promenade, supermarkets, and more are only a few metres away. The location is superb, and the staff made us feel very welcome with their friendly service. A great value choice for travellers.

The beds were comfortable, breakfast was good, and everything was very clean. It's a nice little family hotel right in the city centre. I'd definitely recommend it, especially for the good value.

We had a big room for the three of us, and the price was very reasonable. The place mixes old-fashioned style with modern comforts. They gave us a public parking permit and came outside to show us where we could park.
