Point Hotel

The front desk staff made our stay especially easy and enjoyable. They were pleasant, helpful, and knew a lot about sights to see, things to do, and places to eat. I can't thank them enough for all they did to make everything fun and carefree. The room accommodations were very good, and breakfast had an amazing range of choices with great service. We thought the hotel was great, and hope to come back soon.

The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable, so I thought the hotel had everything going for it. I was staying for two nights with a group from South Korea. But one thing really disappointed me. In the evening I asked a male front desk employee how I could get hot water and whether there was a kettle. He said they didn't have one. After a short exchange, he began speaking sarcastically. I can't tell whether he was rude because of racism or because something else had upset him that evening. Either way, he was very rude. He didn't apologize, and instead loudly asked what the hell was wrong. Since English and Italian aren't my first languages, I can't explain the exchange precisely. I just ended it with, “It's okay.” I've stayed in hotels in many cities and countries and have never encountered staff that rude. I don't know if he owns the hotel. But while he works there, or if he is the owner, I wouldn't recommend staying here and I won't come back.

Even with two buses arriving at once, Mr. Lorenzo answered all our questions and sorted out our problems quickly. He was a hardworking gentleman, and the staff and service were great at Point Hotel: @Padova.

The hotel's a bit far from the city center, and the minimalist look on the 3rd floor wasn't really my thing. The rooms are cozy and nice, though, and breakfast is great. The restaurant upstairs costs a bit more, but the food is really good. They had a few service issues on my last visit and dealt with them quickly. Heating in colder seasons was the exception: I had to tell them several times that my room was pretty cold.
