It’s a very quiet place and not too far from the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Breakfast is free, too. Worth the price.

There are some downsides: mold in a few spots and on one of my pillowcases, a slow-draining shower that you can’t leave running too long, and a fusty smell in the room. Still, it’s somewhere to stay, and the owners were nice and accommodating over the phone. The kitchen was always well stocked for breakfast and had all the utensils and pans you’d need to cook your own food. I was there a while, but I’d recommend it for a one- or two-night stay.

We cut our stay short and left after one day instead of three. The apartment made such a bad first impression that it spoiled our impression of Pisa. There was a strong mold smell, poor lighting, noisy neighbors and surroundings, and awful beds, sheets, and window coverings. Breakfast wasn't normal, and rules were posted everywhere. The atmosphere was atrocious. Never go here.

Just grim and really disappointing. The room was cold and damp, and the towels were still damp the next day because they wouldn't dry after a shower. Some lights didn't work, and the bare tile floors were cold. I was woken by other guests during the night, and on my arrival day a young man burst into my room. There wasn't any service, and I can't give even one star for the room or service. Food options were mostly unpleasant takeaways, with a long walk to reach a nice restaurant. Not recommended.
