My experience was extremely frustrating. I accidentally booked the wrong dates and cancelled within minutes on 30 January. As of 20 February, the hotel still hadn’t approved a refund. Booking.com told me they were ready to process it but needed written confirmation from the hotel, which they said they hadn’t received for weeks. Being left out of pocket over a booking cancelled almost immediately is unacceptable. The lack of communication and failure to sort out a simple matter showed little regard for customers. I’d urge others to be cautious before booking. In response to the owners’ reply: I did contact the hotel directly, but got no useful response. Booking.com also confirmed in writing that they could process my refund once they received the hotel’s written confirmation. They said they hadn’t had a response from the property. This has been going on since 30 January. Whatever the rate conditions were, I cancelled within minutes of making the reservation. I believe a business acting in good faith would return the payment in those circumstances. Instead, weeks have passed with delays and no communication. This review is about how the situation has been handled and the lack of cooperation in resolving a simple issue. I’d still rather have it settled properly than discuss it publicly.

Time Out Pisa was a great choice for a short visit. The room was clean, roomy, and comfortable, and getting in was simple with everything well organized. The place felt safe and looked well cared for. The Leaning Tower and other main sights are just a short walk away. We’d definitely come back! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We found the shared bathrooms a little uncertain at first, but there were three of them, so it never became a problem. The place had a warm, slightly vintage feel, with high ceilings and spacious rooms. Our room was cozy and warm in March, the hot water worked reliably, and everything was spotless. There was unlimited coffee too. We’d come back if there’s a room free.

There’s no elevator, so heavy bags could be a hassle. Still, the owner was friendly and helpful, and the shared bathrooms were clean. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, with unlimited free coffee and water. The best part is that the Pisa tower is only a five-minute walk away. Great value for money.

We had to change our plans, and even though we’d booked a non-refundable rate, the team kindly offered us a full refund. It was a real relief during a stressful situation. The staff were friendly and understanding, and it says a lot about how they treat their guests. When we do get to Pisa, we’ll definitely stay here. Highly recommend.
