Hotel Villa Primavera

Everything was clean and the room was tidy, with a comfortable bed. We didn't have a remote for the air conditioning. We told reception, but one was never brought to us.

I'd strongly advise avoiding this hotel. The staff don't speak English, so it was very hard to communicate, and they kept ignoring our calls, even when things were urgent. They were also rude and tried to charge extra without clearly explaining why. The whole experience was unpleasant and stressful.

This is a decent basic two-star hotel. The staff are friendly, the place is clean, and there's even a hairdryer in the bathroom. Breakfast costs extra and is pretty poor, but I'd still take it since the two cheap cafe-bars nearby weren't open in the morning as advertised. The hotel sits in a quiet, mostly residential area, so walking around isn't convenient. The nearest bar, cafe or restaurant is at least 500 metres away, and most shut before 7pm. Getting to the tower takes about twenty minutes through depressing streets, and the central area is farther still.

The bed was comfortable and the shower itself was nice, but it was broken and had to be handled with one hand. We stayed for two nights and kept the window open because of the bad smell from the carpet. Breakfast was okay.
