My room was booked for a Friday at the end of May for 46 eur/night. First my credit card was rejected, supposedly because the details were wrong, even though I used it to pay at other hotels before and after without any trouble. I entered the details again and it was rejected a second time. After we spoke by phone, the owner said it could be a connection issue and promised to keep the room. The next morning she cancelled the reservation. Since the city’s rooms were booked out that day, she put my room on booking for 110 eur/night. Not a bad business plan, right? Think carefully about what might happen to your belongings here, on top of cancelled reservations. The owner is unapologetically dishonest.

It was really clean and surprisingly economical. The woman who runs the place was polite and knew all about the surrounding area. Food was the one thing missing, though. A great place to stay.

A great base for exploring, with good restaurants nearby and the Leaning Tower within walking distance. The service was very good and affordable too. I’d definitely recommend it!

The listing gave a misleading impression: there was no free parking or breakfast. I also found bed bugs, and the area felt unsafe, with suspicious people in an abandoned car park. Poor value for the money.

The woman on the phone was really unfriendly and hung up while we were still talking. Terrible service. Don’t book.
