The nearest beach is lovely, about 5 km away, and the children have small areas of their own. The atmosphere is warm and family-like, with fresh air, green spaces, and a friendly welcome. Meals are excellent and thoughtfully prepared, with a varied choice from starters through dessert. Definitely worth trying, and I’d return.

The studio was very basic, and the wooden bathroom was poorly maintained and, above all, awkward to use. For what we paid, I expected a bit more. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the setting is quiet, just a few kilometers from the sea.

Valeria and Gianni, thank you for everything. We hope to come back soon. We were four people staying for a week over Easter, and the place, tucked into greenery, was a very positive experience. The children enjoyed themselves, including a few games of foosball and ping pong. We had Valeria Pancetta’s delicious, carefully made food on a few evenings, and the breakfasts were lovely too. The location works well: the sea is only 5 km away, Matera and the Lucanian Dolomites are about 40 minutes away, and there are other beautiful villages and landscapes to explore. Casa Panetta had lovely surroundings and good food. Sadly, after the owner lost her husband, it closed and became a reception center for immigrants.
