Murat Guesthouse

We had a wonderful time in Pizzo. Our bedroom looked out over the castle, and the location right by the castle is beautiful. The host was so nice and helpful. He let us check in earlier and gave us extra breakfast vouchers. He also recommended a taxi driver who took us to the places we wanted to visit. Thanks so much, Eduardo!

The rooms are right across from Castella Murat and only a minute from Pizzos main Plazza, making B&B Murat a great base for Pizzo and the lovely area around it. Our room was a good size, with a king size bed, air con. and all the facilities we needed. Francesco is a charming, helpful host. We'll certainly come back.

The owner deserves five stars for his kindness and helpfulness. He even offered to collect us from the station, and was available for problems and advice. The hotel is in an excellent location, has all the comforts, and offers good services, so I recommend it. I gave four stars because some details need attention: the bathroom door has no key, there were socks under the bed that weren't ours, the shutters were broken, and the balcony opened straight onto the next room with nothing to separate the two.

The host was helpful and sent us a list of places, restaurants, and things to do in Pizzo and the surrounding area when we booked. This guesthouse is right in the center, facing Pizzo Castle and the main square, with the streets and piazza just steps away. The rooms have everything you need, and they even put a clothesline on our balcony for swimsuits. There's also a shared kitchen and refrigerator. No parking on site, but paid spaces are nearby, or you might get lucky and find a free one.
