Right on the city square, with easy transport to the beach club, this place made a great base in Pizzo. The team made our trip feel special, and the service was some of the best I’ve had. It was a magical stay at a real hidden gem. I’d happily recommend it, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

Getting between the car and hotel was easy with the house shuttle, a thoughtful extra. The rooms were great and the beds excellent. Breakfast was exceptional too. Highly recommend.

The beach club is close by, and the hotel transport makes it easy to get there. We loved this fairytale hotel in a little town in Calabria. Such a wonderful stay, we'd happily come back again and again.

The walk to the main piazza was only about three minutes on level ground, and I loved Pizzo. We can't wait to return for the restaurants and those gorgeous sunsets. Our Palazzo Suite had stunning views and lovely little touches throughout. The bed was huge and so comfortable, and I loved having a Nespresso machine and filtered water options. Breakfast was lovely, with eggs made to order, a good mix of sweet and savoury food, plus tea, coffee and fresh orange juice brought to the table. The staff were happy to chat and suggest things nearby, and they went the extra mile arranging shuttles to the beach and station. I could happily have moved in.

After such a fabulous holiday, it was a rotten way to finish. We were left stranded at the Beach Club, the terrace closed at 7 pm, and the air conditioning was capped at 21 degrees C. The greeting was the most unfriendly and unhelpful I've ever had. We'd been told early check-in might be possible, but the older woman stopped the younger one from even checking whether our room was ready. Shocking.
