Hotel La Sorgente

The rooms are clean, and if yours faces the lake, the views are awesome. Our host was really friendly, spoke good English, and was always ready to help. The food was good and reasonably priced. Just expect a winding, hilly drive up to the hotel.

The views are wonderful, and the rooms are very clean and always smell great. We stayed at Hotel Ristorante La Sorgente for 5 days, and the family who runs it were amazing. Tina, Davide, and Linda were warm, kind, and lovely, and went out of their way to help my wife and me whenever we needed it. The road up is winding and fun to drive, and the hotel is only about 10 minutes from downtown. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

There’s a direct bus into the town centre, though we rented a car for convenience since apparently it doesn’t run on Sundays. The views on the way up are beautiful. The hotel is lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean with a spacious toilet. I’d recommend it for a relaxing Lake Como getaway :)

We went to the nearby restaurant, just a short walk from where we were staying, and left very happy with dinner. The food was delicious, the service excellent, and the staff were sweet and spoke English well. There was a big menu with lots of choices, including plenty of pizza toppings, and we could watch them make pizzas by hand from our table. My seasonal octopus pasta was beyond delicious!!! The wine deal was great and put me in an even better mood, and dessert was very satisfying. 10/10.
