We used this peaceful spot in the Roero as a base for the area, with Bra about 10 minutes away and Alba and the Langhe around 30. The house has an old-fashioned summer home feel, but it's been renovated and furnished with care. Francesca was warm, helpful, and flexible. We stayed for a week over Easter 2026 and would happily return.

Francesca's eye for design shows in the thoughtful decor, and the house felt like home right away. She was charming and made sure I had what I needed. I loved waking to the countryside sounds, with farm and vineyard views from the house in its lovely wooded setting. Breakfast was AMAZING. It's a relaxing place, well placed for Barolo, Alba, and good food in Bra. I had a fabulous stay, everything was perfect.

The breakfasts were a real treat, and Francesca's kindness and helpfulness made the stay feel special. Ask her for ideas on what to see, where to try traditional local food, or where to drink the local grape juice, she knows the area well. "America dei Boschi" sits among the woods in an enchanting, peaceful setting on the edge of Roero and Langhe. It's more than a B&B, Francesca has made her home and hospitality feel unique. Keep it up, Francesca!

The location is lovely, about a 15-minute drive from Bra, and the hostess welcomed us, showed us around, and pointed out local sights. Breakfast the next morning was an excellent Italian one. Our room was small, with high ceilings and a roomy bathroom. Sleep was difficult in the heat, since there was no air conditioning and the fan didn't help much. Mosquitoes were also a problem: screens were fitted loosely, and the mosquito net wasn't much use. The bed linens had other people's hair and dirty stains on them.
