The kids had a great time in the courtyard, and the outdoor area looked lovely even though it was too cold for us to make much use of it. Mrs. Dina was especially sweet with them, almost like a grandma, and they kept looking forward to spending time with her. We stayed two nights with our two children and dog, and the snail-shaped apartment had everything we needed, from kitchen and bathroom supplies to water bowls for the dog. It worked well for us as a temporary home, though it would also suit someone using it as a base. The owners were wonderful. We loved being there.

The hostess was so thoughtful, and the apartment had generous, well-planned rooms that felt really welcoming. This is a lovely farmhouse with that warm Tuscan friendliness. I stayed while having eye surgery and felt at home there. I’d gladly recommend it.

Once we extended our visit, we got to stay in both apartments, and each was spectacular, quaint, and romantic. The cleanliness was impeccable. Podere Chiocciola is also very handy for Poggibonsi center and for reaching San Gimignano, Siena, and Florence in just a few minutes. My wife, Serena, my son Matteo, and I were won over by Mrs. Sandra's kindness and helpfulness, and by the very friendly Nonna Dina, who made us feel more at home than we ever have before. We hope to come back for Christmas. Highly recommended.

The welcome was warm, and they had left water in the fridge, Illy coffee, and Carnival treats for us. The dishes and utensils were spotless, and the rooms were tidy and smelled fresh. It's a lovely farm with carefully cleaned rooms, conveniently near the Siena Eye Laser clinic. Recommended.

The apartment was charming and had all the comforts we needed. The hosts were all lovely, but Mrs. Dina really stayed in our hearts, especially my mother's after the two afternoons they spent together.
