Hotel Hermitage

We had a fantastic stay, with a lovely view over the town and all the surrounding greenery. The staff were friendly and polite, and helped switch our room from two single beds to a double. Breakfast was great too. When we missed our favourite pistachio croissants the day before, Silvana saved some for us.

Breakfast was delicious, and the prices were quite reasonable. There are also electric car chargers, offered at a great price, and you can pay at the counter when you check out. The rooms seemed very clean, but they were quite outdated, which is why I can only give four stars.

The pool and the area around it were clean, and we loved the wonderful view. Our room was clean too, breakfast was good, and the staff were really kind. We felt very comfortable there. I recommend staying here and will probably come back.

Ciao, Blessings in Yehoshua HaMashiach’s Name. The view from my small, cozy room was wonderful, and I got some good rest. I also loved the unusual shower design: its high walls kept water from spilling out, and the water and foamy soap stayed around my feet. The soap smelled nice too. Bene. The reception staff were welcoming, chatty, and helpful. One staff member spoke French, Italian, and English, and was friendly, well spoken, and fair while helping me with my reservations. We had a good conversation. God bless him, and I hope he has a great one. The morning meal staff took good care of me, and I felt respected. Much appreciated. Breakfast had plenty of sweets, plus yogurt, bread, and scrambled eggs. The fruit could use an upgrade. If you want a smoothie, go into town. The restaurant at night seemed separate from the hotel. Nobody was rude, but I didn’t enjoy that interaction. The location is a little outside town, about a 5-10 minute walk, close to the fields. Unfortunately, the pool was closed because of construction at the hotel lobby. You can explore outdoors, though I didn’t care for the seating next to the parking lot. It didn’t feel private. You do pay for your stay, but during my visit the staff were fair about pricing and accommodation. I’d absolutely recommend a 2-3 night visit to a family member. Bello, E R
