The staff were warm and kind, and made me feel comfortable. Beyond that, it was all very disappointing. I understand the property is old, but it should still have basic comforts. The bathroom was extremely inconvenient. The cleaning supplies were not personal items, but already used and even partly used up. Only the central shower head worked, so I couldn't use the shower, and the cleaning left a lot to be desired. The room price seems justified only by the location. I wouldn't recommend it.

MARÉ felt like a blind date, and it turned out to be a charming one. Polignano has been close to my heart for a few years, and Via Roma 55 led me to a romantic white enameled door with a brass lion at the entrance. Up a steep, spotless staircase, room no. 5 had lovely, soothing colors that still caught the eye. The clean tuff stone vaulted ceiling and chandelier with its cups lighting us up made the room enchanting and comfortable. That's how you fall in love!

The host was available, the B&B's location is strategic, and the room was well cared for. But I gave it 3 stars because the cleaning wasn't thorough, even though I complained several times. 😒
