La Pergola by Lorenza is tucked into the historic walls of one of Apulia's loveliest old towns. The old town is lively outside, but inside the place offered a completely peaceful retreat. The Italian design is lovely, with creative touches everywhere from the table to the bed. Breakfast was brought right to the apartment each day by the landlady, and the shuttle from the parking lot to the start of the pedestrian zone made the stay easier.

The owner's service was amazing, and Mrs. Lorenza's generous breakfasts are something we'll remember fondly. The accommodation was beautiful, charming, and clean, with romantic stone styling and all the modern conveniences. The location was perfect, and we loved the whole stay.

The breakfasts were a real highlight, with plenty of good gluten-free options for my daughter with celiac disease. We spent a week at La Pergola, right in the historic center, and the place was classy and spotless. Mrs. Lorenza, who runs it, was welcoming, helpful, and very professional. It felt like much more than an ordinary B&B.

Really pretty, but noisy! There’s a wooden mezzanine ceiling over the bedroom, and the children up there are very active.

The breakfasts were generous and delicious, and the owner was kind and helpful. The apartment itself was clean, welcoming, and in a fantastic spot. We felt it was worth the price and would happily recommend it.
