San Michele Suite

Leah was ready to help with anything, and she speaks good English too. The staff, from Eleanor and Leah to the breakfast and cleaning teams, made me feel like a queen. The owner was kind and humble, and clearly has a great team representing him. The rooms were beautifully decorated, very clean, and comfortable. I loved the sea-view room’s built-in sound of the waves, and the showers had really strong water pressure. They even had the small washcloths I rarely find when I travel. My oldest daughter, who’s 27, and I both loved this family-like boutique hotel. I came away with decorating ideas for home in the USA, and hope to return for a longer stay. Grazie Mille!!!

November was cool and the days were short, but we still had a relaxing visit. From the Seaview suite terrace, the view was hard to beat. The team also made everything easy, from breakfast and restaurant bookings to check-in and checkout. We could walk to anywhere we wanted to go.

We stayed in a room separate from the hotel, and it worked out perfectly. The room was lovely, and the staff gave us their full attention. Breakfast at the hotel was plentiful and everything tasted great. Everyone we met was friendly and willing to help. Parking was the one less convenient part. It was about 5-10 minutes away, though that makes sense since the hotel area is car-free. We left the car there once and didn’t need it again until we checked out. The views from our room were breathtaking. Getting there meant climbing a tight spiral staircase, but the room itself was spotless, fresh, and comfortable. We had a really nice stay.
