Tuo Hotel

The pool is great, the hotel is really quiet, and breakfast has improved a lot since my last visit. The staff are friendly and helpful. It’s about a six-minute drive from Polignano city center. This isn’t a luxury hotel, but if the price is good, I’d say go for it.

Our family of five stayed one night, and it was a poor experience. The rooms were basic, just as advertised, but the hotel was holding a pool party with live music and a DJ until 2am. Nobody told us ahead of time. We wouldn’t have stayed if we’d known. The noise from the guests, music, and MC came through clearly, and the bass made our room shake until 2am. Guests should be informed when an event will affect their stay. The front desk staff didn’t seem to care when we raised it at checkout.

The breakfast was unforgettable, delicious, and really special. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had great beds. You’ll need a car to get into town, since daily transport costs $5 each way.

We got terrible service here. At check-in, the staff member gave us no information about the property and didn’t mention the party right outside our room, with live music, fireworks, and a DJ going until 2 am. We’d have made other plans if we’d known. When we asked for help, the hotel did nothing, even though it wasn’t full and could have offered us another room. At checkout, we asked to speak to the director, who pretended not to understand English and ignored us. The staff don’t seem to care about guests’ experience. If you need help, they’ll ignore you when finding a solution is inconvenient.
