Villa Rosalba

A peaceful countryside location, just minutes from the sea. It's really well equipped, and the owner was wonderful and helpful.

The house is quiet and secluded but still central, set in the flat, sunny Apulian countryside. It's very close to the beautiful sea and the center of wonderful Putignano. The covered outdoor area is spacious, equipped, and usable even in the hottest part of the day, though the outdoor seats and chairs aren't especially comfortable. There's plenty of greenery around it: wonderful, very large pepper trees in front of the entrance, a small orchard to the sides, and various ornamental trees, including a beautiful garrubo. The rooms are small but clean and welcoming. This time of year the house gets very hot, so you'll need to use the air conditioning inside. The large kitchen-living room has everything you could need, except a bread knife. I'd say it's a good fit for people who love the sea and countryside and want to have fun. Look around!!

February 2024 Back at Villa Rosalba for my second stay, and I liked it even more this time. The indoor and outdoor spaces, furnishings, accessories, location, and cleanliness were all excellent. The quiet felt like a real luxury these days, and the owners were courteous and helpful as always. I travel a lot and usually stay in self-catering places, but Villa Rosalba is one of the best I've visited and one I've really grown fond of. See you next time, all good things come in threes! 🥰 On my first visit, I found a detached house tucked into the countryside among greenhouses and crops. It was fully equipped and tastefully renovated, with two beautiful bathrooms, furnishings you don't usually find in holiday homes, and a lovely covered outdoor area with everything you need, including a barbecue, oven, sink, and tables. It's well placed for exploring both the countryside and the sea, and a great choice if you want privacy and independence. The host was super friendly and even left basic kitchen and breakfast supplies. Definitely worth another stay!

We spent a wonderful week in this lovely, clean, functional house among fruit trees and flowers in the Polignano countryside. Places of interest are close by: Polignano is 5 minutes away and Monopoli 15 minutes away...
