Antico Feudo San Giorgio

A lovely place surrounded by nature, with comfortable rooms, a fantastic pool, and really good food and wine. The staff were lovely too. I'd happily recommend it.

That mountain view is hard to forget. I came here hoping to escape the crowds and spend time in Italian nature, and this place felt like just what I needed. We booked only a day before flying to Palermo, on a spontaneous trip to Sicily. The villa looks like it belongs in a movie, and the pool has an old-money feel that takes you back to another era. Everyone was so friendly, and the local food was full of flavor. There's a small town nearby with great pizza and ice cream, and plenty of smiles. I also read the family's story online. It's fascinating, and you can feel how much love they've put into this place. I feel like I'm healing here. I'm in love with it and will come back, hopefully for much longer than a week.

Fabiola and Giancorrado were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves excellent local produce and wine, so there's no need to eat elsewhere. We spent the day unwinding at the agriturismo, taking a dip in the pool and sunbathing after a morning farm tour. The scenery stretches across 250 hectares of sheep and cattle pasture, olive groves, and vineyards. In the evening, we drove 20 minutes to Petralia Soprana, a beautiful medieval village perched on a mountaintop. It was a lovely escape from the crowds.

We stayed for three nights at the start of April and would love to come back. The room was large and had all the amenities. Breakfast comes with one of the best views, don't miss it. A great place out in nature.
