Country House “ Il Mandorlo”

The outdoor area is lovely, and the rooms are comfortable and have air conditioning. But the real draw is being high above Acciaroli, surrounded by olive groves, with all that quiet and scenery. The panoramic drive up comes with wonderful sunsets, and the place feels far removed from the holiday crowds. You can walk there if you're fit and keen on a climb. I'd call it a hike up Mount Parnassus. Once you reach the top and see the house and the view, you may just want to stay put. A special spot for anyone who likes nature, silence, and a good view.

We paid €150 for one night, then had to stay somewhere else because the property couldn't be reached in our car. We weren't given even a partial refund. The road down is extremely steep, with no lights or guardrails, and we nearly fell. We couldn't drive it safely, and I wouldn't recommend trying it on foot either. Don't go, especially with children. The property told us we were probably inexperienced drivers. The municipality should close that road before someone gets hurt.

We found Il Mandorlo Country House just minutes from the center of Acciaroli, and it was a lovely surprise. It feels like a quiet escape in nature, with a breathtaking harbor view. The shabby chic look carries through both the inside and outside, and our room was clean, nicely equipped, and comfortable. Letizia runs the B&B with so much care and dedication. The rooms are bright and clean, and the price is very good for what you get. The setting is beautiful, though a bit inconvenient, but the beaches and town center are still only a few minutes away.
