We had a good stay in a lovely apartment in a great spot, and the owners were very friendly and helpful, though they only speak Italian. The extras made it an expensive option: parking was €15 a day, and towels and bed linen cost another €5 per person for the stay. We weren't given fresh ones after a week.

The apartment is spacious and in an excellent location, but those were the only real positives for us. The owner speaks no English, so we couldn't communicate without a translator. AC was available only in the kitchen and one bedroom. The kitchen had very little equipment, and the counter was dirty and sticky. For four people staying four days, we got one roll of toilet paper; when we asked for more, the owner pointed us to a nearby supermarket. Towels cost an extra 5 euros per person, which we hadn't seen mentioned, and they weren't replaced during our stay. There was potential here, but the disorganization and the owner left us with a bad impression.
