The train made it easy to get around, and the location works well for visiting pompei. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a lovely balcony. The host was friendly and helpful. I’d stay there again.

The location was perfect for us, about a 10-minute walk to the Pompeii entrance. It’s also near the pompei station, with two supermarkets close by: MD is very near the apartment, and Dodeca is on the way from the main entrance of pompeii.

The owner was lovely and brought breakfast every morning. The place was clean, and would probably suit an overnight stay, but we were there for 4 nights. It felt very dark inside, with an old-fashioned layout that wasn’t comfortable and poor lighting. Pompei itself was a disappointment: rubbish, no sidewalks, and busy roads. It’s a disgrace to its history, Italy, and Europe.

We got to check in straight away because the really nice host had the room cleaned early for us. It’s central and spacious, and great value for money. It can get a bit noisy with the windows open while you’re sleeping.

The location was handy, within walking distance of the ruins and other sights. Breakfast was a bit skimpy, and the bed was really uncomfortable, with two separate single mattresses on a double bed.
