HABITA79, Pompeii, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The hotel’s location makes visiting the Pompeii site easy, just a five-minute walk, and local amenities are close by. I’m already planning another trip with other family members. My husband and I came back because our first stay was so amazing. We were welcomed again and enjoyed the relaxed, friendly feel, with all our needs taken care of. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, housekeeping comes daily, and breakfast is unbelievably good. Definitely worth a stay.

We arrived late on the first night and were put in a corner room, which my wife didn’t like. They switched us to another room the next day without any hassle. We had a great stay. The rooftop bar looks out over Mount Vesuvius, and Pompeii ruins are very close.

The staff made our stay especially lovely. Davide, Angelo, Norbert, Marianna, Aldo, Rafada and Rosaria were all warm, accommodating, and welcoming. We also loved the generous breakfast in the restaurant, with its elegant turquoise and gold decor. We left with happy memories and definitely plan to return. Habita79 MGallery Pompeii is a gorgeous hotel right in the heart of town. It’s beside the beautiful church, the Shrine for the Virgin of the Rosary Pompeii, and we enjoyed hearing its bells ring now and then. Our room was large and spacious, and we were given a complimentary upgrade to one overlooking the gorgeous cathedral tower. My husband and I had a truly wonderful day here. Highly recommended!

When we were asked if we’d enjoyed our stay as we were leaving, I said no and got only an “OK” in response. Usually someone would ask what went wrong, but I didn’t get the sense the hotel really cared. The spa and gym were closed, though they opened them after we asked. I also had to move my car three times, which I’ve never experienced at an M hotel. They offered breakfast as a goodwill gesture, which was nice. We were given a menu and ordered an omelette and two coffees, then noticed a buffet around the corner when other guests arrived. Nobody had told us about it. When I asked where it was, I said it would’ve been good to mention it to us.
