The staff took care of everything we needed, and we ate at the hotel restaurant every night. They bring food in from a local restaurant rather than cooking it there, but it was very good. Try the pork tenderloin, it was one of my best meals in Italy. The hotel is modern, beautiful, and quiet, away from the bustle of Pompei. The rooms are a little small, though each has a balcony for some extra space. It's outside town, so when we arrived by train there were no cabs waiting. Be ready to call the hotel for a ride. The tourism office by the cathedral can also help with transport, and the Inn arranged our morning rides.

Breakfast was amazing, and they catered exceptionally well for my gluten-free needs. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Every member of staff was welcoming, attentive, and friendly, and they went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. Our room was beautiful, with a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and a lovely clean bathroom. The decor and soft furnishings were lovely and spotless. The reception area, breakfast areas, hallways, and pool area were clean too. We had the most relaxing, wonderful stay.

I went to use the spa on my last day in Pompei. It's quite remote, and I didn't feel comfortable walking there alone along the road. The facilities were okay, but a little small and dated. Some details were odd, like the women's toilet having no seat. It wasn't what I expected from the photos.

We felt right at home and were well looked after by the hotel team and their manager Maurizio. It's a great location, about a 20-minute walk from anywhere you might want to go. Their advice really paid off for us. Jan Carlos is the best taxi driver.
