My family of four took the pasta-making class, and it was the highlight of our 12 days in Italy. It was just the four of us in the kitchen with the two ladies, who were welcoming, patient, and nurturing with my kids and me. We made pasta and a shortbread dessert, and helped with some ravioli and crostini. Then we had a leisurely 1.5-hour lunch on their patio: two bottles of wine, our pasta and dessert, plus roast pork and potatoes. At first you might wonder if the price is worth it, but the experience and food were both great, and we had enough leftovers and wine for two more days.

We’ve been here twice now and will come back. The apartments are clean and nicely decorated, with great views, and there’s a decent-sized saltwater pool. The staff are friendly and helpful, the Veroni wine is nice, and the cooking classes were great. Firenze is just around the corner. What more do you need for a good trip?

The apartments are clean and very nice, the host is friendly, and the views are amazing. It’s a quiet spot, yet Pontassieve is very close, with local bars and a really big supermarket.

The place looks even better in person than it does in the pictures. I’d suggest staying at least a week to enjoy the scenery, the pool, and, of course, the wine. In summer, you can grill outside too.
