Marconi

The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was great. Still, the showers were cramped and uncomfortable, and there were a few ants in our room. The hotel feels dated, with an overall look that may appeal more to older visitors, though that's a matter of taste. The bathrooms are due for renovation.

A good enough choice for a night, even if the style is old-fashioned. The bathroom was very clean and had everything needed, including towels, shower gel, and shampoo. The staff were kind and did what they could to help.

The air conditioning didn't work, and the room was too hot to sleep in. We found a cockroach in the bathroom, then the lights and electricity shorted out, so we needed the front desk lady to restore the power. Calling this a four-star hotel seems fanciful, maybe that would have fit in King Henry's time in the 18th century. Two stars at most.

The room was cleaned daily, and breakfast was okay. But at 120Euro per night, I expected more. The old AC was so noisy I thought it might break, so I turned it off. The pillows were very hard and made it difficult to sleep, and the TV was tiny. Don't charge your EV at the hotel, they overcharge you. It's more expensive than the famous Ionity fast chargers.
