Maison Canopee

At Maison Canopée, the sea’s sound and scent greet you and make the place feel like a dream. The bright, spacious rooms and thoughtful details are lovely, and the room staff are very friendly. The decor has an old-world feel, though there are modern comforts like Wi-Fi. Breakfast brought plenty of choice, including croissants, yogurt, tarts, cheese, and prickly pears. I won’t forget this stay, and I’ll definitely return.

Waking up to the sea from the terrace, with direct access to the beach, felt like a dream. The rooms are carefully furnished, right down to the details. Breakfast was abundant, with delicious fresh local food that really showed off Sicily. The host and staff were kind, and he went out of his way to make the stay memorable. Thank you, Giuseppe. I’ve seen for myself that a place like this really exists.

Falling asleep to the waves and stepping straight onto the beach made Maison Canopée feel like a little paradise. The view gave us a beautiful setting for the first photos of our wedding day and brought calm to us and our relatives. We chose Sicily for our wedding, and this was where the bride got ready before leaving for the church. The house is stunning, furnished with taste by Barbara, and fits beautifully with its surroundings. In the morning, breakfast was laid out in the living room and on the terrace, with coffee, pastries, homemade cakes, and fresh fruit. The place is even lovelier in person than in the photos. Mr. Giuseppe was incredibly kind and helpful. He understood what we needed, often before we asked, and worked with the ladies on site to keep everything running smoothly. With makeup, hair, photos, and visiting relatives, the villa was a real hive of activity. He was a perfect host, and I can’t thank him enough for helping make our wedding day so special. Wisdane was cheerful and kind too. Thank you all. My family and I will always hold this place close and would consider returning for another fairytale stay. Highly recommended.

The surprise was the view in the morning: the sea and beach below, reached directly through an internal passage. Breakfast was generous and high quality, with freshly squeezed juice, Sicilian cannoli from a nearby bakery, and plenty more local food. We came for a special seaside long weekend in Sicily during the off-season and chose the property for its name. Mr. Giuseppe welcomed us warmly and professionally, as if we were regulars. We arrived late, but he still went out of his way to book us a place for dinner. Maison Canopee makes an impression as soon as you walk in, with stylish furnishings and careful details throughout. Our suite’s fully renovated bathroom matched the property’s style in its space and materials. Thank you, Giuseppe, for helping us make the most of our short Sicilian break.
